Retro Clip Art

Retro Clip ArtRetro Clip Art

Hello! Many graphic designers, graphic artists and crafters out there have been looking for high quality, unique Retro Clip Art. Well, I am a Retro Clip Art artist and I've decided to post all of my Retro Clip Art at my website. You can find cool Retro Backgrounds, Retro Borders and Retro Clip Art for all of the holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas, Halloween, Easter, St. Patrick's Day and 4th of July! There's retro and vintage style bowling clip art, advertising elements, and so much more! I've even collected similar clip art images and have created value-priced clip art collections! I began illlustrating Retro Clip Art several years ago. I've always been a fan of anything "fifties" including the old black and white T.V. sitcoms. I was disapointed to find that there weren't any websites which offered high quality Retro Clip Art in several digital formats at a reasonable price, so I decided to start drawing Retro Clip Art that I thought was interesting. I suppose my love of all things retro started with hearing stories from my mother and father about how simple life was being raised in the 1940s and 1950s. Stories of their childhood really captured my attention and my heart. I envisioned myself as being in their shoes or perhaps being one of their friends growing up. Stories about how my father would go fishing in the summer in between working on his various (now vintage) hot rods inspired me. My mother used to catch frogs and fireflies during the early hours of the warm summer evenings in Keokuk, Iowa, the ultimate small town! How different my parent's childhood's were compared to mine. It seems as though life stood still or at least was slower back then compared to now. I guess I live vicariously in the 1940s and the 1950s through my clip art. If I were to choose another time period to spend my childhood, it would have to be either in the 1940s or the 1950s. Imagine waking up to the smell of coffee, eggs and bacon grease every day! How wonderful! The only "stress" on a Saturday would be the "big" decision of either going fishing at the local pond or tuning up the carburetor on your jalopy. After which you'd have even the "bigger" decision of whether to go to the local diner for a burger or to go check out the latest flick at the neighborhood drive-in. What a wonderful life!

Well, enough reminiscing, if you have an ideas for new Retro Clip Art you'd like me to add to my Retro Clip Art website, personal thoughts, ideas, past recollections of the "good old days" or anything retro or vintage in nature, please feel free to post your comments here while you enjoy the fun Retro Videos I have posted for your viewing pleasure. I would LOVE to hear your stories about growing up the 1940s or the 1950s! Perhaps you have a memory of a favorite car, drive-in theater, ice cream malt recipe or whatever! Share your thoughts and your memories so all of us can enjoy a period in time that will never be duplicated.
